Life In The Arctic

There are about 20 species of land animals in the Arctic. This includes squirrel, wolf, fox, moose, caribou, reindeer, polar bear, and musk ox. The aquatic animals found here are walrus, seals, and whales. Penny caribou is a rare and endangered species found only in the Canadian Arctic. The most enduring are Alaska beetles and flies that can live in temperatures of up to -60 degrees Celcius. Mosquitoes and Bumblebees pollinate the flowers in the Arctic, where there are almost no honey bees.
